Glacier Park Boat Company operates at 5 Glacier National Park locations.

St. Mary Lake

At Many Glacier Hotel, launch service is available on both Swiftcurrent Lake and on Josephine Lake. A short wooded path connects the two lakes.

Hikers and casual walkers often use this service to obtain easy access to upper reaches of the valley.

At Lake McDonald Lodge scenic cruises are available on the historic vessel, the Desmet.

Rowboats and lifejackets are rented at this location.

Narrated tours are conducted on St Mary Lake. This glacial fiord is surrounded by peaks 5,000 feet overhead and offers amazing photo opportunities

On Two Medicine Lake the vessel Sinopah transports hikers who cut about 3 miles each way from hikes in the upper valley by riding the boat.

Row boats, electric motor- boats, kayaks and canoes are also offered for rent at the dock at Two Medicine Lake.

In Apgar Village at the foot of Lake McDonald, rowboats, kayaks and 10 horsepower units may be rented.

Bowman and Kintla Lakes

These long narrow lakes are in the northwestern area of the park. Their valleys extend from the level forest of the North Fork of the Flathead and have been carved deep into the mountains.

Canoes and kayaks ply these waters which can turn choppy in stiff afternoon winds.

Access is by narrow gravel roads, towed units may be discouraged.
