Transportation to Glacier

Amtrak

Runs twice daily with stops in East Glacier, Essex and West Glacier. Also stops in Whitefish.

Westbound service from Chicago, IL & Minneapolis - St. Paul, MN.

Eastbound service from Seattle, WA, meets passenger service coming up from from Portland, OR in Spokane, WA.


Glacier Park International Airport

Located in the Flathead Valley on US HWY 2 about halfway between Kalispell and Columbia Falls. Flights from west Seattle, Spokane, Portland. Service from Salt Lake City and Minneapolis.

Concessioners in Glacier

Glacier Park Boat Company

Launches run daily during the summer season on Lake McDonald, Swiftcurrent & Josephine, Saint Mary, Middle Two Medicine and Waterton Lakes. Early and late season operations.


Granite Park & Sperry Chalets

Sperry and Granite Park Chalets are accessable by trail only. Horses are available for hire to the chalets.

Sperry offers full service accommodations while Granite Park is operated as a hiker's camp. Guests must pack their own food & water while staying at Granite Park Chalet. The large kitchen is open for guest use.


Sun Tours

Large windowed shuttles provide comfortable touring with narrative along Going-to-the-Sun Road and secondary routes in Glacier and the Blackfeet Reservation.


Glacier Park Inc.

GPI is the concessioner giant with establishments throughout the park. Operator of the grand lodges in Glacier.


Glacier Guides.

Offers day and overnight hiking in Glacier. Chalet trips and outings for anglers available.


Fishing Regulations
